Our teaching methods are fundamentally different from other language schools in Hong Kong. |
These differences can be seen in the following areas:
1. |
The tools we use to correct pronunciation |
2. |
Our approach of teaching the language as a whole |
3. |
Our techniques of teaching Chinese characters |
We believe our clients do not need to pay us for
something that can be done by a dictionary or computer software.
Our view of language teaching is similar to the
process of building a house. The foundations need to be in place
before interior decoration can be carried out. Through years of
research, we have developed a framework of techniques to help students
to remember the grammars and to study language effectively. Rather
than providing them with temporary solutions, such as sentences
for students to remember, our methods give students a fundamental
understanding of how to use an expression
allowing the students to handle situations they will encounter in
the future rather than limiting them to situations given in the
text book.
Our method is based on two principles: inductive
reasoning and deductive reasoning. To use this system effectively
we have also developed mnemonics to assist in memory.
